A Buddhist monk by the name of Dr. Mikao Usui rediscovered Reiki approximately 150 years ago. It reached California in the 1930's and soon after became known worldwide. Today it is probably the most recognized energetic healing method in use. Reiki is a Japanese word that means, vital and universal energy. The Reiki practitioner transmits this divine, intelligent energy through the implementation of his/her hands to heal, balance and harmonize the body.

For many people Reiki marks the entrance into the world of energetic healing methods. This is understandable since it is a very efficient healing method, which is easy to learn and practice. Everyone would benefit by learning Reiki or receiving treatments on a regular basis.

Reiki I

This workshop is an introduction to the traditional working level of Reiki. Meditations and exercises prepare the participants for the use of this caring and etheric energy. The different currents of energy and their polarities in the body will be explained. A chakra cleansing technique will also be described and practiced. Participants will learn how to transmit Reiki energy by a positioning of the hands for self treatment and treatment of others. The initiations will open and cleanse the inner healing channels and raise the individual's level of consciousness and energetic potential significantly.

Reiki II

The Reiki II symbols and their usage will be explained and practiced. These symbols will enable the participants to heal mental and emotional problems more deeply and to offer long distance treatments. The practice sessions and opportunity for exchange will deepen the knowledge and use of Reiki energy and the understanding of its working method. The initiations will raise the individual's consciousness and energetic healing potential to even higher levels. Preconditions: Reiki I (with the R.A.I.)

Reiki III (Master level)

This level is aimed at accessing the force of the master. Special meditations, reflections and exercises will guide participants toward an encounter with their inner master. Participants will receive a symbol, which will allow them to access the master vibration of Reiki. This workshop is focused on a detailed elaboration of the Reiki practice and how to incorporate it into our daily lives. The initiation at this level raises the receiver's consciousness and energetic healing potential to within reach of that of a master. Preconditions: Reiki I and II (with the R.A.I.)

Reiki Teacher (to become a Reiki instructor)

Unlike the Reiki Master, the Reiki Teacher receives the possibility and the right to perform Reiki initiations and to introduce individuals to the potential of higher vibration and energy. Only the Reiki Teacher has the right to initiate people, since it is through the initiation at this level that he/she is enabled to do so. This workshop will prepare the individual to teach Reiki I, Reiki II and Reiki III (Master) workshops. These Reiki workshops will be reviewed extensively and the order of their contents will be clarified. Detailed instructions on how to perform the initiations will also be explained. Preconditions: Reiki I, II and III (with the R.A.I.)
